My mission with my art is to spark a feeling. Mostly i just want to bring fun back into this sometimes waaaay too serious world and that is why I paint simple happy things, like animals, plants, flowers, bugs and everyday items and things and if there is something more serious on my mind, i paint it through humor. So yes, fun!
I only know what the themes mean to me and the most interesting part is listening to what my art brings up in others. it is different with everyone, some hate, some love, some don’t get it, some laugh and sometimes it touches deeply to a memory of something and feelings get high, but since my art is about things that surrounds us almost daily, everyone has a connection of somesort to what ever i have painted. I paint them also as a reminder to notice the here and now, which can be found from the small things around you. We get lost in this big and confusing world of expectations and rules and control and i want to do my part to bring us back to being humans, having human needs and desires, living with and not against of eachothers and to connect back to now.
